My Goals

I believe that we should have more goals than dreams, because when I think of the word "dream" I think of something that it's just in our heads, something that we don't really know how to make it real.
That's why I say I have more goals than dreams. I know I can reach them, I can make them happen.
So today I felt like sharing this with you, and it is a big deal for me because God knows how much I keep my goals in private, its just something that I can't stop doing.

I want to be on YouTube. That has been my goal since I don't know when, even since I started showing interest on this blogging thing. But life is being hard with me on this moment, so I can't have a precious marvellous camera, and a lot of boring things that you probably don't care about.

I want to have a job that doesn't feel like one, every person dreams, right? But mine is a goal... [winky face].

I want to have my own apartment, in another place, other country, other continent. I want to be independent. Now, this is probably gonna sound weird, but I'm really excited about buying my own groceries and doing all the things that lonely people do.

I want to learn so freaking much. I'm currently learning Italian and I'm fascinated. I want to know as much as my mind alloweds me to. I want to read tons of books and transform my room into piles of pages.

I want to find the man that loves me. I want him to look at me thinking that I'm indeed not perfect, but I'm goddamn worth it.

This is a crazy one. I want to have 5 kids... And no, I am not really into kids, but they're going to be mine so I'm gonna love them....

I want to make great friends, those ones that you are just like "Thanks heaven for sending me this amazing creature".

I want to get far in this blogging situation.

I want to explore. I found a picture the other day and it says "I would gladly live out of a suitcase if it meant I could see the world". I love it so much that I have had it as my screensaver for a long time.

That is everything I'm sharing today.
I'm not saying that you can't have dreams, I'm saying that you should do the best that you can, and believe in yourself, and you should know that you're capable of anything.

Bye!!

Loving Mondays

Almost everyone, or maybe actually EVERYONE hates Mondays. I hate them too.
It means the end of our precious short weekend, the back to reality and monotony, waking up early, and a lot of bad, sad stuff. And I was thinking the other day, that life is not really life if all we do is wait for the weekends to come and feel miserable all week.

Yes, Mondays are horrible, but think it this way, a lot of people say "I'll start exercising on Monday" and probably they don't, or maybe they do. So, How about us, you and I, start loving Mondays, what if make Mondays the day to a new life. For example:
- The next Monday I'll start eating healthy; You eat junk food all weekend or so and on Monday you are a new person that enjoys salads, and smoothies, and stuff. You make this promise to yourself and stick to it for, I don't know, the rest of your life.
Then, the next Monday you feel the need to be more productive. All right, you'll have time to be lazy for a couple of days and when Monday comes, that silly life is over.

It doesn't matter the change you want to make, who cares if its huge or a tiny one, the thing here is that you should change something that its going to make you a delightful human being.

Maybe it sounds lame, but I personally think its a great idea. People say that if you want a change in your life, you should make it in that precise moment, they tell you to not leave it for tomorrow. And they're freaking right!! But let's be honest, its hard, so that's what this whole post is about. We should take Mondays as our fresh, brand new start.

I dare you to do this with me, leave our bad habits without a drastic impact.
You can follow my Monday's Changes on my instagram and you can also share yours.

I am successful

Hello. If you're new to my blog, you're very, very welcome, I hope you enjoy the minutes that you're losing in here.

So, yes, this is a post about success, buuuuut let me tell you that it is not the typical post where you have been told that the real success is happiness and blah. Sure, everything its true, but why would I write about something that has already been wrote about?
Here is why I think I'm already successful and why I know I'm going to be successful in the future.

I am successful because in this moment I'm creating my future, and I know it is going to be good, there's not a day that I don't think about my goals and how I'm going to get to them.
I am successful because I believe in me, I know that I'm capable to do everything I propose me to.
I am successful because I know what I want in my life, the people that I want to be with, and the people that i don't.
I am successful because I know exactly who I am, and I know that I'm awesome, its sounds silly and selfish but I love my thoughts and my mind and I'm really grateful for the things that I have been trough.
I am successful because I know where I'm going and how I'm gonna get there.
I am successful because I'm conscious about life, and I am aware that bad days are gonna make their appearance.

I am so successful because I'm doing something great with my life. Right now people can't really see it, but I'm seeing it and that is what matters.

These are my reasons of why I think I am successful and it would be an honor if you guys share your reasons with me.

chocolate and red velvet mug cakes

If you like chocolate and red velvet cake a lot, and if you are a big fan of mugs, I think this post is for you.

I been searching and experimenting with a lot of chocolate mug cake recipes, and I liked them, but they weren't my favorite, until i found this one, and I love it so much that I'm going to share it with you and I'm even going to use it as a gift for an amazing friend of mine, plus, a Red Velvet mug cake, because two it's better than one, right?

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
Here's what you'll need for the Chocolate one:

  • 1/4 cup of flour.
  • 1/4 cup of milk.
  •  1    tbsp. of brown sugar.
  •  1    tbsp. of granulated sugar.
  •  2    tbsp. of cocoa powder.
  •  2    tbsp. of oil.
  • 1/4  tsp. of baking powder.
  •  a dash of vanilla extract.
  •  2    tbsp. of nutella (optional, but highly recommended).
  •  a pinch of salt.

How to prepare it:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Add in the oil, mix a little bit, and then add the milk and vanilla. (I personally like stirring the milk and vanilla together before I put them in the cake mixture, it's just and idea of mine).
  3. If you happen to have nutella, don't skip this step. Before everything is really well mix, add a tbsp. of nutella and stir until there's no lumps, don't over mix because it can be bad, I don't how but thats the way it is.
  4. Pour it on a cool looking and microwave safe mug and, here comes the second tablespoon of nutella. Add it right in the middle of the batter and let it be, don't push it or anything.
  5. Cook in the microwave for 60-65 seconds in high, you know your oven so you know what to do.
If you don't have nutella, this recipe is still great and amazing, the nutella adds more flavour and a lava kind of texture.

RED VELVET MUG CAKE

Ingredients:

  •  5 tbsp. of flour.
  •  1 tbsp. of coco powder.
  •  4 tbsp. of sugar.
  •  3 tbsp. of oil.
  •  4. tbsp. of milk.
  • 1/4 tsp. of baking powder.
  •  1/2 tsp. of red food colorant.
  •  a pinch of salt.
  •  a dash of cinnamon powder.
  •  a dash of vanilla extract.

How to prepare it:

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, vanilla extract, and the red colorant.
  3. Add the oil to the batter, then add the wet mixture and stir until perfectly, amazingly, combined.
  4. Pour it on a mug and cook it in the microwave for 60-65 seconds in high.

if you want to be bold, I'll show you.

I made a white chocolate buttercream for the red velvet cake, and a chocolate buttercream for the chocolate one...

I just simply melt my chocolates and wait until they got at room temperature, and then I added some tablespoons of plain buttercream, stir it, and done, my frostings were ready and tasty.

I really hope you enjoyed this week post, and I hope you also enjoy the mug cakes if you decide to make them. If you do you should send me a picture via instagram or wherever you prefer.

Thnks, goodbye, peace out, great week.
